Brooklyn Oktoberfest Review #40

Brooklyn Oktoberfest
Style: Oktoberfest/Marzen
Autumn Seasonal
ABV: 5.5%
12oz Bottle Poured Into A Sam Adams Dimpled Mug

Brooklyn Oktoberfest was introduced in 2000. It is true to the original German style, full-bodied and malty, with a bready aroma and light, brisk hop bitterness.

The taste of this beer was a weak version of your typical Marzen style. The taste was like malty flavored water. The taste is a thin mix of fruits, grains, light floral  and some pretzely flavors. The beer finishes with a touch of earth  and a grainy caramel sweetness that dries and leaves a lengthy aftertaste. A boring beer with better options out there.
