Taste has a nice light roasted, rich flavor, but not syrupy. The beer has a sweet chocolate flavor with coffee undertones. The body of this beer turned out to be very smooth. They add oysters to the wort in this beer, but don't worry there is none of that in the taste.  This beer could be Guinness's "little brother", but only say that because it's been around longer.

I love Yard's beers, but this one I was afraid of because of the oysters. This beer turned out to be delicious and is now up there with some of my favorites. The only thing that makes me upset, that it is only a seasonal beer. Good thing the Yard's tasting room is only minutes from my house.
