Left Hand Stranger Ale
American Pale Ale
ABV: 5%
12oz Bottle Poured Into A Peroni Tall Boy Glass

Left Hand Brewing Co.
Longmont, Colorado
Dick Doore/Eric Wallace
1993

Appearance:
Dull Apricot Color
Thin Pitiful Head
Head Retained Itself Throughout The Beer, As A Film On The Top Of The Beer
Cloudy Clarity

Aroma:
Candy
Fruity
Piney
Sweet Caramel Malts
Citrus

Mouthfeel:
Sparkling Carbonation
Light Bodied Beer
Watery Texture
Mildy Refreshing
Sweet Beer Balance
Super Crisp And Smooth Mouthfeel

Taste was not very unique and kind of a bland flavor, starts off with a citrus hop and some bitterness and some light sweet caramel malts. Touch Of A Grassy Hop Note In The Background Of The Beer. The Middle Of The Beer Has A Strong Bitterness And A Bready Flavor Comes Through. The Finish Of The Beer Is Nice And Dry, With A Aftertaste That Lingers.

2 Out Of 6
Don't Want A Sixer

Left Hand Brewery Is A Good Brewery, With Better Products Than This One. This Beer Was Just A Undistinguished APA, And There Are Better Choices For APA Out There. Try Another Brew From This Brewery, Before This One. I Enjoy Their Sawtooth Ale, So I Would Try That First.
