Avery The Kaiser Imperial Oktoberfest Review #39

Avery The Kaiser Imperial Oktoberfest
Style: Dunkler Bock
Seasonal
ABV:  10.01%
A 1 Pint 6 Fluid Oz Bottle Poured Into A Sam Adams Oktoberfest Dimple Mug

The Kaiser once said, "Give me a woman who loves beer and I will conquer the world." If the Kaiser and his significant other had tipped this bottle, we’d all be "sprechenden Deutsch!" We took all that is good in a traditional Oktoberfest - gorgeous, deep copper sheen, massive malty backbone and spicy, floral, pungent noble hops - then intensified each into this, an Imperial Oktoberfest.

Taste if this beer is right where it needs to be for a real Oktoberfest beer. There is a lot of cinnamon applesauce with a huge malt overtones. It a gentle hop bitterness with a nice sweet finish. This beer was a malt lager bomb and was a Oktoberfest on steroids. The alcohol is apparent as it warms and you can taste the evil alcohol demons reading you for some trouble if you drink large liter krugs of this. This beer was delicious and can be placed in any German competitions when it comes to Marzen lagers.

This beer had me raising my dimple mug in my house and was yelling "Prost", thinking I was in a beer tent.
